MediaWiki Professionals
Juris Informatica is in the business of publishing legal Web sites. In short, we launch a site about a certain legal topic and then use our search engine optimization techniques to drive traffic to that site. Prospective clients who are visiting the site call or e-mail us. One of our attorneys screen the clients and if they have a good case, refers that client to an appropriate attorney in their part of the country. In exchange, we receive a substantial referral fee. It’s a very unique, interesting and frankly a very lucrative business.
Although we are a new company, so far we have been quite successful, with several major cases (including a $20 million case) having been referred to suitable legal counsel. In the next two years, we expect to launch about 5 sites a month, for a total of 500 sites in the next 5 years. Perhaps 5 to 10 of these sites will be wikis, the rest will be WordPress sites. Thus, we will not be operating a wikifarm. We are looking for someone to act as a system administrator for the wikis (and perhaps the WordPress sites if you are interested, but that is not necessary and if you do not know WordPress, that is OK). Someone else would be responsible for content and you do not need to know anything about law.
Some of the sites we will be launching will be wikis and thus we are looking for a couple of really good MediaWiki administrator.
We are also looking for someone who will serve as the manager of the wiki. Ideally they would have some experience with wikis and MediaWiki in particular, but they do not need to be as technical as the systems administrator.
Ideal Background
Ideal background for the systems administrator includes:
- Knows MediaWiki well
